On December 29, 2006 McLane Advanced Technologies (MAT), a local government and commercial technology company, finalized the acquisition of Temple-based Texas Networking Solutions. McLane Advanced Technologies currently has offices in Temple, Waco, Dallas, Alabama, and Virginia. The MAT International offices are located in Kuwait and Iraq with a new location soon to open in Germany. Skip Carruth, MAT’s Vice President for Commercial Services led the acquisition process and says “this merger will help us expand our service offerings and add value to our clients.” MAT and Texas Networking were friendly competitors in this market up until this merger.
